I received the email right after my Stanford and Princeton rejections, so that lowered my expectations quite a lot… I still just can’t believe it.
I feel so lucky to be able to choose between Harvard and Yale… it’s absurd, really</p>

<p>I got HYPCD (all the ones i applied) but i’ve quickly left D out of the equation because its too cold and too isolated :P</p>

<p>So far Y’s aid is THE best ever, contribution 0 (international, combined income 8k). P’s putting parental contribution at 4k per annum and D at close to 9k. Can’t find C’s yet. I heard its coming with the mail and so is H. </p>

<p>I’ve sent H my final results (already available) and now the question is back to: Do they still want me? I can’t even have one day of unadulterated joy… Sigh. To quote Blair Waldorf I’m headed for a midlife crisis at eighteen!</p>

<p>^If you have assets then Harvard’s aid will be a little better than Yale’s.</p>

<p>Financial aid info should arrive in the next couple days. Last year D2 had an H-Y decision. H’s cost after fin aid came in 23K under Y’s - about the same cost as room and board at our state schools after a full tuition scholarship.</p>
