I haven’t received any either
That’s probably it! Mine have just been asking questions and requesting FA documents so lol
Don’t worry if you don’t get anything.
@sparkatzz I haven’t received anything…I’m a first time 9th grade applicant.
I can verify that one may hear nothing during this period and be offered admission, so don’t let that freak you out. I believe that’s the norm.
Haven’t heard anything either. i’m hoping it means nothing…fingers crossed
Just a reminder as you wait for admissions results that what you do with your education matters a lot more than where you got it
I agree @CaliMex. I went to a poor catholic school, a public high school, state university for undergrad and state university for professional school. These days, I give orders to HYP folks everyday.
I am really, really, really starting to regret only applying to three schools. I might not get into any of them.
It’s okay, I’m sure you’ll be fine. I only applied to 4!
@daythemusicdied It really depends on the schools you applied to. If you applied to one reach, one safety, and one that you are competitive applicant for (target school), your chances may not be great, but I don’t think it should be a problem. However, if you applied to Andover, Exeter, and SPS or some other school with an acceptance rate in the teens/20s I would be worried as well.
Thanks, @lightningqueen12, but as @CC4life predicted, I only applied to highly selective schools.
I just can’t believe that some schools like andover, choate, and WRA (to name a few), are STILL in committee and reviewing applications. I assumed they were pretty much done by now and just making the finishing touches.
I’m nervous about my chances, but I know there’s nothing I can do. I do have a top choice, one that I’ve seen get mentioned quite a few times on this board, so I’m really hoping that works out. But if it isn’t, maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.
I’m also worried about the school most of my dad’s family went to, because if I don’t get in, I’ll feel bad because I couldn’t get accepted where they all did.
I’m just trying to think positively, and be grateful for every moment I have in my current school with my friends
@CaliMex you are spot on. I went to public elementary, catholic high, public college and graduate school. I routinely manage acronym college/graduate school people and/or surpass them using any measure of success.
What one does with the education one receives is what matters.
I have no school tomorrow! Thank you snowstorm [-O<
What do you guys normally do on snow days?
Build an army of snowmen and guide them to victory! Although where I live the only snow now is in freezers…
Hello everyone! It’s my first time posting on here but I’ve been reading the threads for a while now since it helps to calm my nerves while waiting for March 9th and 10th. I’m an international student and I’m applying for the 11th grade (I heard that it’s super difficult to get into that grade). It’s only 9 more days to March 10 and I’m super anxious! I’m currently on break from school until some time late next week which makes the waiting game even worse since school was my main distraction.
However, I’m just here counting down the days since that is the only thing I can do at this point.
@CC4life - are you applying to WRA? Have you heard anything from them about how you will receive the decision?
