I wonder if international students like myself receive packages in the mail as well.
I’m gonna set an alarm for 8 (but knowing me, I’ll probably wake up super early)
IF I GET IN: I’m gonna post it to my Instagram story because some people from Choate (whom I don’t know) already follow me for some reason. Then, I’ll probably start a Pinterest board for my dorm. After like 3 hours of that, I’m gonna start doing my HW
IF I GET REJECTED/WL: I’ll tell my friends about it and then read sad books and cry
@sparkatzz, I wouldn’t worry, I received it today but I live in California and the postage stamp says it was mailed on the 4th. Personally, I think they underestimated how quickly it would arrive for applicants who live farther away because they didn’t use Fedex or UPS like most schools they just used USPS. I wouldn’t freak out because they might just mail Connecticut packages the day before the decision date. GOOD LUCK!

@Ambitiousteen I’m not sure how it is on a school by school basis, but I know that Andover and Choate send the acceptance packages to international students, but they do not receive the “swag” such as t-shirts, hats, candy, etc. international acceptances also ALMOST ALWAYS arrive after the decision dates. I’m assuming it is pretty similar at other schools as well.
@CC4life ohhh okay. Thanks a lot for that information. I didn’t apply to any of those schools though and I doubt there’s any way of finding out as it pertains to the schools that I did apply to.

@CC4life Congratulations on your acceptance! You’re already off to a good start this admissions season ? maybe a sign? Who knows. 
@M0hammad In the event that I’m accepted, I’ll wake my parents up by jumping on their bed. This’ll aggravate them but it’ll be totally worth it. Even though I haven’t slept through the whole night, I’ll probably be too excited to go to sleep. I’ll call my friends, family, everyone on my contacts list (even though I haven’t spoken to some in years) and inform them of the good news. I’ll probably be on a dopamine high for the rest of the day.
If I’m rejected, it’ll be life as usual. It won’t be a disappointment— or at least one severe enough to cause a mental breakdown. I only applied to some of the most selective schools so I’ve been telling myself to not expect much. If it’s meant to be, then it’ll happen. If not, it was probably for the greater good.
Can’t belive tomorrow’s Thursday, then comes Friday, then BAM!

If I’m accepted, then I’m going to jump around for quite a while and have this huge smile on my face. Then I’ll FaceTime friends and cook food.

@TexasKid2018 yeah there typically is some swag usually it is postcards, some clothes, a note from the AO who interviewed you, etc. The school that I have always heard that has the best acceptance package is deerfield. Two years ago, they had a balloon that says congratulations pop out when you open the package and they usually have clothes and custom Deerfield M&Ms.
