The Official OCT 28, 2006 ACT SCORE THREAD

Harvard?? really?

What level school? Your score alone won't get you anywhere.

I did ok/bad :(. Maybe I should had brought a prep book or something.

Composite: 25
English: 25
Math: 25
Reading: 28
Science: 21

I thought my science would be lower, I spended so much time on this one passage, that I just marked B for like 2 passages or something hahaha =[.

Wished they would had given more time for all the tests, oh well!

I did the worst on the forum! Woohoo.

Reading: 30
Math: 21
Science: 24
English: 22 - oops
Composite: 24

Hey guys,
I got a 25 Writing
27 Math
24 Reading
24 Science
Really Blows.

I have a question, is the essay section incorporated into the writing score?

Oh, and BTW what is better 1820 SAT or 25 ACT?

Well first of all, what was just your combined CR and M on the SAT? The charts all seem to be in the 1600 score. At any rate, a 25 ACT would be like a 1140 SAT (old). So you see which is better.
Second of all, the English MC is separate from your essay, but then to come up with your writing score there's some sort of combination of the MC and essay, I think, but don't quote me on it.

actually the essay IS your writing score. you already have english and reading, but writing is only the essay.
when you get the essay, you'll get a writing score and a english/writing score, which won't change your overall composite, or your original english score.

33 Composite:

34 M;
27 R;
33 E;
36 Sci.

was hoping to have gotten that reading up, but no regrets...

with a 32+, you have a good chance anywhere

im too scared to check my scores... i averaged 27-29s on practice test but thats with 30s on science, this time i know for sure i got less then 25 on science ( i guessed like 8 ) and i know i got like 3 wrong..

check your scores! I was getting around 27's on my science practice tests, guessed about the last 10. (the whole last passage, and part of the one before) and ended up with a 26.

Composite: 32

I payed. I was too anxious to wait.
