<p>hahaha i ADORE this thread. i really appreciate how there was an entire conversation about awkward turtle/starfish/moose/penguin/whichever. thank you for enlightening me. i'm going to try to get it started here up north in celebration of this thread, if nothing else.</p>
<p>honestly we need to have a cc yale scea party so all of us amazing people can hang out and be awkward dorks together.</p>
<p>as I realized that I could count the days remaining until I found out about Yale with the fingers on one hand, I also realized that I couldn't do the same for the number of my remaining applications</p>

without knowing what the admission officers based their judgements on

<p>i feel like if i get in, that will make all the crazy stuff i did to be a good candidate make sense. like, staying up until two in the morning finishing papers, taking six aps at once, doing sports and ecs, spending last summer doing a long term community service project, etc. it would validate all my hard work. does anyone else feel like if they get in, it makes the last four years seem worthwhile?</p>
