holy crap, i just realized something that's absolutely terrible about my application... i have taken no ap classes before senior year. my school doesn't offer them until junior year for those advanced in math, and senior year for everyone else. i'll graduate having taken eight ap tests, but seven are from senior year. is that going to be hurtful?

prob not if you're taking eight this year, but you'll know in 43 hours :)

43 hoursss, ew. i just wanted someone to make me feel a little better, i just panicked. i'm sure it's in the school report too. i'm taking six this year, but econ is two ap tests. i took stat last year.

don't worry about it. yale will know that your school doesnt offer APs until senior year and overlook that fact.

i'm in the same situation (sort of) since my school doesn't offer any until now. but i self studied some (didn't do that well though), however it wont be held against you if you didnt/

thank you for making me feel better, stressing out about something dumb like that is the last thing i want to be doing. i have a single session tomorrow because of snow, i'm so excited :D

urself4some1likeu, I reeeeallly don't think that will count against you. Clearly you're rocking this year, so that's the best you can do. If every student were in the same boat, the admissions process would be so different.

Deeeeepp breathss.... all out of our hands it is.

it's 9:11 and I'm posting on CC. Bad omen for friday?

I really kind of want tiramisu. I think that's what I'll do fri nite after I receive the decision: make tiramisu.

man, 43 hrs. def should NOT have said that. i'll be counting them down now. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Hahaha dchari, I feel like we're the same person, but you're way smarter.

But in the things that "count" I feel like we're very similar.

mmm i love tiramisu...
but i'm too lazy to make it so i'll probably go buy some

either be crying and stuffing my face, or be so happy that i'm barely eating it.

My friends and I are throwing a dinner party... I'll be bringing tiramisu. You've inspired me.

by the final 24 hours or so, I was counting minutes; the last 12 hours I was literally counting seconds.

don't do that.

so do we find out fri night or sat???

um so what happens if yale suddenly loses power friday afternoon?? cause we're getting 5-8 inches of snow thrusday/friday and then a huge nor'easter this weekend...

if my decision is postponed i will be sooo ****sed

Haha they better not have a power outage. I doubt they will though.

GAH I hate how there isnt a specified time for decision releases. We could all be waiting for ages and ages.

hahaha, yeah i'm sure there would be mass chaos on this thread if decisions got postponed a day

Another weird question, since the thought of APs came up...if our AP scores are stated on the transcript, the admissions officers WILL look at them correct?

yeah, they look.

Aaa Tomorrow Aaa Tomorrow Aaa Tomorrow Aaaaaaaaa.

Starburst, i just posted on the thread right below this about how we seem to be thinking the same thing. Somehow we just have this connection i guess, cuz....AAAAAAAA TOMORROW AAAAAA TOMORRROW AAAAA TOMORROWW!!!!!!

@ fears of yale power outages:

yale has its own power plant, very nice (VERY pretty actually) so grid outages would not be a problem and

yale is, I assure you, used to rather more snow than that ; ) and it's not a particularly amazing storm coming our way (sadly...) so it shouldn't be an issue
