<p>Just going from yahoo to the yale admissions page gave a white screen with about three or four lines on it, one of which was a link saying "Early Applicants: get your admissions decisions online" or something like that. Clicking on that gets the login screen, and then the blue screen with the bulldog came up. Be sure your volume isn't muted! Good luck!</p>

<p>I've also been deferred. So what does this really mean? Is this more positive or more negative, and how high are the chances? I'm thinking about calling or writing them and telling them that Yale is still my first choice, and also asking what they see as my weaknesses and what I could do better. Or would they just feel disturbed by it? What would you guys recommend?</p>

<p>To all the deferees (there's like ~3000 listed on the accepted students website), college admissions comes down to minor ******** differences @ elite colleges. Since the EA pool was so strong this year, you will have a better chance in RD than past years.</p>
