I'm just wondering if any of you could tell me my chances of getting into OSU. I applied with early action. I'm extremely active in extracurriculars, sports, service clubs, ect. I'm on National Honor Society. I'm a first generation college student and am in need of financial help. I have taken several AP and honors classes, such as honors physical science, honors biology, AP calculus, AP history, and AP English. I have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.767 and a 24 on my ACT. I applied to the pre-nursing program. Also, do any of you know if I can resubmit a new ACT if I am not accepted into the pre-nursing program, so that they may rethink their decision? Thanks everyone! I really would love nothing more than to go to OSU. It's always been my dream.

Thank you, Catria!

Can someone else chance me, please?

Hi,

I know you can send admissions updates eg. new scores, any information that might help them see you differently. Right now your GPA and ACT school are borderline but being first generation college gives you an edge. I know a student with a 2.0 and a ACT 29 who got in but he wrote in the “What else should we know about you” section how he had ADD and was on a IPB. He took challenging courses in high school but had poor study habits. I guess they saw the potential . He didn’t go though, he decided on a local school.
