I’ve really liked Lehigh, UVA, William and Mary and Georgetown but I think Columbia with those stairs going up to Low Library is pretty impressive.
Ohio University: consistent red-brick architecture, lovely quad that ends on a diagonal with the main strip (Court St.), treeish and hilly, and the Hocking River forms a natural border. Beautiful, beautiful campus. Don’t let its public-school/party-school rep fool you.
University of Washington when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Princeton, UVA, UNC And Boston College. Wish we toured Yale and/or Vassar but my vote lost. And what were the chances our only rainy day visit was Swarthmore, from the minute we left the driveway and the entire visit! Tour guide took us to the Arboretum umbrellas in hand, pretty campus. Wish all of us could have travelled west. Saw Lewis and Clark campus on a TV show, looked awesome!
@BellaMorgan you must really like Taco Bell.
James Madison University - stunning setting in Shenandoah Valley; “blue stone” buildings at core of campus. Our oldest attended and we always were incredulous that this is a public institution (our comparison was our State Flagship - UMASS Amherst, which is a we feel is a worn hodgepodge of buildings.)
Yale for its impressive architecture, Mt. Holyoke for its gorgeous natural setting, Stanford for its church and beautiful weather.
