The Real ACT Prep Guide

From looking through college confidential, I have seen mixed opinions about the different test prep books for the ACT. Are the actual ACT tests in the Real ACT Prep Guide similar to the tests that you would take during an actual ACT?

Yes – the “red book” is the best prep book to start with; it has quite a few tests and lots of explanations. There are also some practice exams freely available online through the ACT website. If you exhaust all of those resources, then you can look into a different prep book.
