The sooner I put in my deposit, the better?

<p>I was recently accepted to Marist and am wondering if it makes a difference the earlier I send in the deposit? I am 95% sure about going there. I was thinking that it would maybe make a difference in what dorm I get (first come, first serve with best dorms)? Or are dorms chosen completely randomly. </p>

<p>Every school works differently, for some it’s first come first served, others have deadlines. Some have refundable housing deposits if you decide not to attend, others are non-refundable.</p>

<p>Go to the Marist website and see what they say, if you still have questions, call them.</p>
