…is less than 5 days away! Are the rest of you cadets (09 & others) looking forward to it?

Maybe if you could describe recognition in a little more detail, then I'll tell you if i'm looking foward to it. :)

Solormax,

UNcynical address her question to cadets, who would not need any explanation of what it is. If you are interested, you might click on the following link to look at the article on the AOG website.

Oh, my bad.

not to mention, I doubt the cadets would tell us anyways....I'm sure it will be an oh so delightful suprise, haha

UNcynical,

Since you didn't get any cadets to answer your question, I'd be interested in how you would answer it. Are you looking forward to Recognition? What is the general mood of the cadets regarding its return? I believe that your class was the last one to experience Recognition; do you expect the "new" Recognition to be similar to what you experienced?

I am looking forward to it. While there is a handful of cynical cadets (mainly in the middle two classes, who did not have the opportunity to go through it), overall, I am impressed by how motivated all four classes are. It is important for all four classes to be motivated as this won't work if just one or two classes want it to succeed. My class was the last one to experience Reocognition, but this should be interesting as we've never been on this side of it. While it will be different from mine for several reasons (including the fact it's been completely gone for 3 years), it will also be similar in many ways as my class wrote the plans for it and the only experience we have with Recognition to draw from is the one we went through ourselves.

I'm looking forward to it (just under 09 hours now!), as are most of my classmates. Obviously, we can't wait to earn our prop and wings, signifying acceptance as uperclassmen, the end of doolie year and all the stuff we hate that goes with it. But this is not the only reason we look forward to it. My class has been very enthusiastic about the "R-word" since the very first rumors began to fly. Most people come here expecting a challenge, and we aren't going to back down from one.

Solormax, there are also other threads that discuss recognition, if you want to know more about it. I gotta go, I have alot to prepare for.

Surfnkid, I like your attitude (which many of your classmates seem to share as well). Good luck! Now go EARN your prop and wings. ;)

Surfnkid, I know the basics for recognition. I was asking what exactly is the upperclassmen going to do to you doolies. Looks like you can tell me about it after you went through Recognition. Good luck!!
