These colleges have very generous NEED based aid. If you don’t qualify for need based aid, you won’t receive any aid from most of them. Only a few give any sort of merit aid.
And their generous need based aid is only available to those who get accepted. With acceptance rates below 20%, that isn’t a given.
They all cost in the $70,000 a year range.
@thumper1, yes those are important points to make and the article does list their total costs without aid. However, for families who qualify for need based aid and have high achieving students, it’s helpful to know which schools tend to be most generous in meeting need.
I am very fortunate that both of my kids attend colleges on this list.
