The Village... Opt out?

<p>Hypothetical question.</p>

<p>What happens if I opt out of my Village Contract?? I do know that there will be a $650 fee. Which was basically the prepayment I already made. But I read something along the lines of "Resident is responsible to pay room charges up to the full term of the contract or until such time as the space is recontracted." </p>

<p>Since The Village didn't fill up this year. Does that mean I'm more than likely going to pay $10,055 regardless if I live there or not?</p>

<p>Good question… By the way I knew the village wouldn’t fill up, all the talk UCSD made about space running out was to scare people into signing up.</p>
