<p>Hey guys, today I was talking with my good buddy, evan, about how pumped we'll be if we get into our dream schools. I'm thinking that we should post what we plan on doing if we get into our top choice. I'm sure we've all fantasized about the moment that you read that e-mail, will check your status, or receive that letter. </p>

<p>i know what i did when i got accepted to UCLA last year- I screamed outside my house as loud as i could

nobody was around but the birds in the trees, so this time im gonna shout it at night when people are sleeping.</p>
<p>To be honest, I’ll probably cry in happiness because it’s always been my biggest dream. Growing up in the bay area, I used to look at those “Alumni… CAL” license plate holders and think “man, if only I was smart enough to go there.”</p>
<p>@ jane: lol I want to scream at the top of my lungs as well! God it’ll (hopefully happen) and be soooo exhilarating. I’m thinking of doing it in the middle of the day because I’ll be finding out around 5:00 PM or so, and I don’t think I could hold it all in until night.</p>
<p>@ mikei: You and I have a very similar long-time need/longing for Cal. I never thought I would ever have a chance. Thank god for this site. I want to get one of those license plates and a nice sweatshirt immediately afterward.</p>

<p>@emil… Yeah, that’s what I’ll do… Buy that license plate holder!!! ahahaha Man… Growing up in the bay Cal is such a legend, isn’t it? I remember in HS just feeling so happy for my friends that got into Cal and thinking about how wonderful their lives will be. And geez, I can’t believe I applied and actually have a chance of getting in. I love CCC sooooo MUCH! How will we ever thank the CCC for giving us such a chance??</p>
<p>@ mikei: Man, you have a great chance! Yeah, I totally agree; Cal is soo highly respected here. People ask me all the time if I’m going…I kind of cheated and bought 2 UCB shirts lol one of which is a College of Letters & Science UCB shirt! Only 4 kids from my hs went to Cal out of 400, and roughly 40 applied. I think 8 were accepted. To think that not only could I join those 4 kids, but be a grade ahead of them because of CCC and at the leading public school in the world…it’s mind-boggling. A dream. One that may become a reality for us, my friend. Let’s hope for the best!</p>

<p>given the anonymous nature of these forums im not sure what you all think of this, but does anyone want to meet up and celebrate if we all get in? there’s nothing like a good party where everyone’s elated over the same thing</p>
<p>I’m going to call an ex-girlfriend and gloat, then tell her to hand the phone to her ■■■■■■■ child and let him know how big of a ****** his father is in comparison to the guy his mom dumped, a future Cal alumni. (Just kidding, at least I think I am.)</p>
<p>I’ll probably start watching lectures for CS61A on iTunes U, which I intend to take over the summer; I’ll also go buy the reader for the class and start prepping. I’ll start picking out furniture and exploring Berkeley and it’s surrounding neighborhoods so I know where to look for an apartment. I’ll start planning my course sequence as well. (I’ve thought about this a little too much, as you can tell.)</p>
