I printed off (last year's) copies of the applications, and I didn't see any such essay.. am I missing something?? where is it??</p>

<p>I remember answering a lot of those "Why us?" questions. I used the Common App, so I guess to make their applications more personal (considering you can use the Common App to apply to hundreds of schools), they ask questions specifically about their school on the supplements.</p>

<p>that question gets so repetitive... by the time I was nearing the end of the app process i was overwhelmingly tempted to write "JUST BECAUSE, DAMNIT."</p>
