I have heard pretty good things about the theatre program here but have not heard anything first hand. Is anyone here in the prgram? What do you think about it? Does it take up a lot of time? Anything else you feel inclined to tell me!

Admission to theater program at Mason-Gross is a very tough audition admit. That you are inclined to ask "Does it take up a lot of time?" suggests that you have other interests.....what else are you considering for a major?

no i was saying that because i do want a program that is intense enough to take up a lot of time!! the real reason i am applying to colleges/universities is because conservatories don't have enough financial aid

Don't listen to him, he automatically assumes you are not dedicated, and that may not be the case! I am not a theater major, BUT, two of my friends are, and it is very time consuming. That will either be good for you, or not so good. I always see the both of them doing street theater, which according to many, is the only natural stage for theater left on earth. But they do enjoy it, and they do a lot of acting in class and out. Email some professors, find out from them. Good luck my friend
