Theoretical Dilemma

I hope I dont approach my mailbox to see a thin white envelope. :-(
How terrible that would be!

But anyways, do you think people come to MIT knowing how to prove theorems etc. I mean I am taking a college honors calc class and I am having the hardest time proving theorems (mostly the teacher's fault-doesnt explain anything). I'm not doing shabbily in the class- grade is around a B/B+. So, should I continue, even though I dislike it thorougly or should I take a somewhat easier yet still challenging course (one notch down). I really dont know what you other applicants are like, or what you know, so I would appreciate the advice!

i am not even taking any college course at all.. so you figure.
well the bottom line is if MIT accepts you, that means they do believe that you'd be able to do whatever task in MIT. well sometime it might be wrong, but i believe MIT does pretty good job. (well i guess there are way more capable applicants anyway)
