Is that true? A guy I know from an AP Stats class claimed that he heard it from his older sister who went to a Cornell info session back in '05 or '06. If it's true, the guy/girl probably graduated after '00 and before '06 .

haha i doubt it

maybe not 9 majors but i could see one graduating with two majors and several minors :O

i will graduate (i hope) with 1 major and 2 minors :O

It was actually 8 majors, 4 of them with departmental honors. I think the dude was in Caltech getting a Ph.D. in Chemistry, last I heard.

Found an article from the Daily Sun; is this the guy?

[C.U. Junior Tackles 60 Credit Semester | The Cornell Daily Sun](<a href=“The Cornell Daily Sun - Independent Since 1880”>The Cornell Daily Sun - Independent Since 1880)

60 credits is ridiculous.

dood takes 60 credits and his schedule is only 9 to 4 30? wth?

wow i cant believe this is actually real

I’m still not sure how this works. I’m not sure 60 credits is mathematically possible, since there’s only so many hours per week that class is held.

someone should try to make a schedulizer with as many credits possible. i think it would be fun to see.

:)

I wonder how that worked out for that guy…

sike. must’ve survived… http://www.news.cornell.edu/chronicle/02/4.11.02/Goldwater_scholars.html

… 15 classes in a semester…?
I’m honestly not sure that’s completely possible…

he must be the ghost of cornellians past

I think it’s possible in the later years, if a lot of your classes are seminars that meet just once a week. After all, he wasn’t getting the 60 credits until Junior year.

meet once a week? wont that be like 1 credit

^there are some higher-level seminars that meet like 2 hrs a week and are 4 credits
