Aww, no, don’t feel embarrassed haha:) Personally, I agree, I would find that a little weird, but hold on to that poem and get to know her better. After, maybe you can tell it to her again:)
O, tell the story!:)

^ Maybe sometime in the future. I’m not really in the mood for typing out a long story. I’ll post it in this section too. :D

Aww:( Ok…I see your motive, you are depriving me of your story so I do my homework:( I understand lol

First step is being friendly with her. Then ask her out. Only other option is getting into the friend zone and working her out of it in a few years. (Which is very possible despite the common held belief.)

Get over her. Please. She’s not the “one” for you and you’re wasting your time. People don’t have to learn this the hard way, including you. Just get over her. You might even be idealizing the thought/image of her, rather than her herself, as suggested by your “passionate” poem writing about a female you’re not really in a relationship with.

^ I am over her. I just felt some stupid urge to tell CC. :(

Aww, that’s ok:) You’ll find someone else, no worries:)

am i the only one who found it ironic that the first reply to the thread “There’s this girl” is “aww (: is there a story?”
like.

THIS IS THE STORY OF A GIRL.

so we all know what happened to the girl the op liked.

^ Go on. :)

she cried a river and drowned the whole world.
and while she looked so sad in photographs
he absolutely loved her pause
when she smiled.

maybe the poem he wrote were the lyrics. (:

this thread reinforces the stereotype that 99% of the people on this forum are socially ■■■■■■■■

I think love poems are cute… LOL it all depends.
I write love poems but i never actually give them to the guy i like
I hide them in my drawer. But I’m over him so see, I commiserate

^ Pshhh. It’s not THAT emo. xD
And they aren’t lyrics. :p

@nothing4me: I don’t think you’re creepy.

I have a friend that is in love with my bf…I don’t understand how that happened. She knows the exact time she met him…like date and time in minutes and seconds  She wrote him a poem while she was in the shower and recited it to him by memory and she still knows it by memory…and he laughed at her…I didn’t know that she was in love with him when I started talking to him…but she’s still my friend and she’s slowly getting over him and moving on to this other guy. Though my bf never showed any affection towards her…she just kind of fell in love at first sight… =/ It makes me feel bad…but I thought this story would make you seem less creepy =]

OP I feel your pain. I like a girl that kind of shut me down too. But I would NEVER have the nuts to recite her a poem. So I gave you props, in a strange way.

*I give her all my love
That’s all I do
And if you saw my love
You’d love her too
I love her
*

<3 for that song =]

Not that there’s anything wrong with that

Love poems are only okay if you’re already exclusively involved with someone. Otherwise it’s a tad creepy. I mean, just think about receiving a random letter that reveals someone you sort-of-kind-of know has been observing you closely enough to write a specific, emotionally-saturated poem.
