I'm currently freaking out because I'm applying to a school that rejected me last year as a high school senior. In an earlier thread, people assured me it was fine to apply as a freshman in college (for being admitted as a Sophmore), but just when I thought I had everything sent in, I get an email telling me:

"In order for us to complete your review, we will need your Spring 2008 grades. We typically like to see that transfer students have at least 30 credits completed. Please fax over a copy of your transcript AND mail an official copy to our office as soon as you can."

The problem is...there's no indication of my Spring 2008 grades on my transcript yet. Last semester, I didn't know what my grades were until after final exams. I think it's just the way the school I'm at now does it, they don't post midterm grades on the transcript.

Our finals here are May 7 - 15. The application to GWU (where I want to transfer) is due on April 1st. We recieve our NOTIFICATION on May 1st.

So I'm going to e-mail the Admissions director back, but I'm really freaking out because I don't know if they're going to admit me with just my first semester grades. =(

Has this happened to any Freshmen applicants before? Any advice?
