Well, not my application, but my brother’s. He got a postcard today that said that due to his incomplete application file, his application has been officially withdrawn.

Is this fair? Shouldn’t they have notified him and given him a fair chance to complete his application instead of just going “oh, it’s incomplete, well then we just have to WITHDRAW it?”

that is odd..usually they will notify a person if their application is incomplete and you will have until they are at the end of the RD undergrad applications review process. Strange. If I were him, I would call and see what's up and why he wasn't notified. What was he missing?

It doesn't say what he was missing, just that his application has been withdraw. We presume it was a teacher recommendation, since a couple other schools did not receive them (postal problems).

He is going to call tomorrow. I hope they still let him apply! :o

are you sure? 'cus on commonapp.org it says that BC REQUIRES 2 Teacher Evaluations, School Report (this includes a recommendation from your counselor) and a Mid-Year Report. I sent all of these in and I also applied EA.

u bet i am.......coz i was freakin out all over since only one of the recs made in...
so i called them up and they were like ah, ur app is complete.........one recommendation is enuf.

hey heyy.....im pretty relaxed.in fact more so than i should be... besides i was half-kiddin.........way to take it all so seriously, punk.
yea apparently calling admissions office tends to sort out all problems.
((by the way, the brother didnt turn in the common app on time.)) lol. i know
bah...sorry.
