They're waiting for my 1st semester grades...chances?

I applied back in early October and was told that they wanted to wait until I got my first semester grades. I assume this is a good thing, because most people with my grades usually get rejected right away. I just wanted to come on here and get a second opinion.

GPA: 74%

My rank is very low, but our class is ridiculously smart. The top 10-15 would easily get into Penn State (our best state school), and some have Ivy-like stats

The reason for my low grades is described in my essay (diagnosed with depression, family problems).

As for my grades so far this year...my 1st quarter GPA was an 82%, and this is how I think my grades are going so far this quarter...some I know for sure, others I don't:
