they've definitely made their decisions already!

I just made my account, and on the page that opens after I log in, under 'Announcements' on the bottom it says 'Welcome to myNEU...Welcome to myNEU Congratulations on your admission...' and click on the link... it says:

"Welcome to myNEU

Congratulations on your admission to Northeastern University! We look forward to seeing you on campus soon. Until then, we invite you to explore this online portal and discover what it’s like to be part of the Northeastern community.

This is myNEU, your virtual guide to life at Northeastern University. As you tour the site, you’ll be able to:

• Submit your tuition and housing deposits online
• Complete and submit your Residence Application online
• Receive updated information on colleges, majors and special programs
• See the academic calendar and schedules for orientation, move-in and class activities
• Read about what's happening on campus and around Boston
• Check out what some of our current students are up to
• Access your Northeastern email account

Check back often for news, updates, and answers to all your questions about University life. Make our homepage yours, and get connected to NEU. "

Also says that the financial aid awarding begins around April 1st.

For financial aid, it says:

"Financial Aid Notification

If you applied for financial aid and completed all necessary forms, you will receive a letter stating Northeastern's offer of financial aid within a few days following your acceptance. Financial aid awards will begin mailing around April 1. As an incoming student, you may have questions regarding financial planning for your years at Northeastern. For answers to your questions, you may contact Student Financial Services at <a href="http://www.financialaid.neu.edu.">www.financialaid.neu.edu.</a>"</p>

anna,

Thank you, and congratulations!

My son does not have this, so I think that he was rejected from NEU.

Thank you, and I wouldnt be so sure about his rejection. I find it hard to believe that he would be able to even make an email if he wasnt accepted.

My list of materials is missing. The majors are grey but my personal information still can be corrected. I tried to create an accout but it requires me SSN and I am international. Weiirrddd..

anna, That is what I thought, but it certainly does not congratulate him. I will just check it periodically, while he is out of town. We aren't keeping our hopes up though.

Well, I can't use email or do anything else, but it isn't giving me the error anymore when I try to login. It just brings me to another confirmation screen.

<a href="http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3640/neu20pw.png%5B/url%5D">http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3640/neu20pw.png</a></p>

Alex, My son had that screen too. He entered his admissions ID. The ID that was used to check to see if all materials were received is called the "admissions ID". This is what I entered for him, but no congratulations letter comes up. It said that he successfully enabled his account. Then it gave him a myneu username, and a myneu email address. It told him to print this for his records. This page was entitled "account activation".

OK, found it.

Once you actually go back and login, you will find this I think (that's how I got it). I'm sure your son was admitted if you were able to make an account.

Edit: Here is a screenshot of what it should look like <a href="http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/3995/neu35wz.png%5B/url%5D">http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/3995/neu35wz.png</a>.</p>

Alex, Congratulations!

No, I really think that my S did not get in. Now it has 2 messages from this morning regarding a confirmation of reset of password. I really do not get it. I guess he will need to wait for snail mail to find out, if he is in, or out.

I was just able to get an account at MyNEU, but now it's not letting me log on there. I guess we'll seeee...

I got into myneu and it looks like I was accepted!!! I am so excited!

is anyone else still awaiting response from neu? i still havent heard anything from them

Yeah, i think almost everyone is still waiting with a few exceptions in mass.

ajpatel22.. the way people are finding out they were accepted is through myneu.neu.edu I don't think anyone here has gotten the actual letter yet.

I am waiting in Pa.

okay... heres the deal..

all my documents received are still there...
my major is grey'd out

i tried making an account at myneu but it says:
Account Activation
We're Sorry...
Your account cannot be resolved. Please see the appropriate page below to submit a trouble ticket for assistance.

does this mean i got rejected? =</p>

has anyone been able to create a myneu account with the list of materials disappearing?

wait is it bad that my list of materials is still there?

JAhmed: The same thing keeps happening to me. Where do u live? Northeastern seems to be contacting applicants by region, seeing that most of the people who are able to log in to myNEU are from MA.
