yeah we are definitely diff. in that aspect... i really dont regret too many things so i guess thats y it isnt as important 2 me

On the whole sex thing.....I'm also a virgin, but the main reason is because I have heard that it hurts quite a bit the first time, and I want to be with a guy that genuinly cares about me enough so that this matters to him. If he doesn't care about how I feel and my wellbeing.......then it just isn't going to happen.

and the colors thing! yes. I have always wondered that. Do my reds look different from yours? And how would it feel to see things through a dogs eyes...or an ants! So incredible!

yay blythe! haha and what colors are we missing out on? i mean we are used to a set of colors. what if there were more? think about how unfathomable that would be. blows your mind. and terry i guess i dont really regret things so much as i well its hard to explain. but i guess we'll just go with i dont want to regret it.

YES! haha...like my cousin once told me to think of a color that I had never seen before and it is impossible....and that is just so weird. There could be some random color and i have no idea what it would be. Insane!

haha ..its so wierd so many ppl thought of the color thing. I also wonder about it. Because grass is green in my eyes but maybe in yours it might be blue but we have been taught that grass is green so my green might be your blue..i know its confusing. And another color..never really thought about it but sounds interesting.

Also, how would you know that you are color blind?

There is a general consensus about colors guys, or otherise how would Crayola have what they invented. Also, if you've taken psychology eveyone should) you'll know that people develope a preset of ideas or "schema" that are useful in everyday life to help us comprehend things. Thus, even though we may not see exactly the same "red" to most people it is still red and people who are colorblind may not see any red at all even though others do, and then you know it's color-blind. And about sex hurting, I'm pretty sure it does but that hasn't stopped most people :).

I wonder if what I see in the world is what others also see. Like when a bird flies, do others notice it, or is it just a figment of my imagination? Like if a tree fall in a forest, does it make a sound? Or is it just particles int he air that are disturbed by the tree and people have to be around the tree in order for there to be "sound."

I am deaf but i use hearing aids... and i always wonder about that exact came color concept, with sounds.

ive been told that the sex thing only hurts once.... it cant hurt too bad b/c me sister loves it and loves telling me so despite my protests (shes 18).

I always think about me not existing -- not because I am a emo depressed crybaby... but because I just get into this whole thing "what if the world did not exist, what if i didnt exist" It really freaks me out because it's like.. "whoa"

... sometimes when i get money with like a phone number written on it i wonder whos number it is

wow terrybhs.. thats deep

lol but i wonder that too. i feel like calling the number and saying "math is awesome".. yeah.

sometimes i think about if things were different. like what if certain things hadnt been done a while ago... or had been just a little bit different. like what if the draft age was 19 would that change how old you have to be to buy cigarettes, to get certain jobs? and what about school? would we stay in until we're 19? if so what about that extra year? would we start a year later? how would that affect our learning development? would it completely change the level of maturity in school? i just like to think about how one thing affects another thing and so on until it's a humungous thing.

i think of what stoplights could be besides what they are now. I have yet to come up with a better system.

i always wonder how it feels to be like really mentally challenged.. do you know that you are challenged...... also if i was born in mexico and learned spanish b4 i learned english and then moved to the us and learned english at say age 10... would i think in spanish or english and would that voice in my head have an accent?

wow... i sort of think the same thing... what language do we think in? i mean as babies we think right? we don't know the language then. if that's true then thoughts are merely generated certainties we present to ourselves (i hope you guys get what i mean... it was hard to explain). if so then what could we do to recreate these? or even better... what could we do if we recreate these?

maybe babies think by visualizing pictures.... it would explain why kids have such great imaginations

Dude....the colors thing!

I wonder the EXACT same thing.........

yeah that is a good one with the "what language do we think in?"

I am in nooooooooooooo way fluent in spanish....at all! But sometimes I think of something that can be perfectly described with a Spanish word, but I have a difficult time finding an English word that fits it. This gets really confusing. And when I take notes really fast I sometimes write 'el' for 'the' and 'y' for and. This can throw me off sometimes when i read them later, but it is much easier to write this way.

Yeah..the what language do we think in

I think differently for different language.

Oh and the cliche: Are people watching me?

I am fascinated by the languages people think in. I find it so cool that someone can think in different languages once they are fluent in both. It is my goal with French lol...once I can think in it I will know I am fluent (I am very far from this BTW). blythe I also do the same thing with French...sometimes it is so much more concise to use expressions in French than English in my history notes, so I use them.

man i love this thread....I also think about what language people think in....

Here is a question... (i'm pretty sure i havent seen this question)

Does the universe go on forever...if it does-how is that possible?

If it doesnt go on forever...and ends what is beyond it? there acannot be nothing?
