This is intended to be a fun thread for things that surprise or amuse you.
I will start. I am currently overseas and staying in a hotel with a balcony that looks like it opens into a jungle. There is a tag on the balcony door that reads:
“Please keep the balcony door closed to prevent monkeys from entering your room.” 
And to tempt fate, what do they have in the room to welcome you? A bunch of bananas.
