Think Cornell will follow Harvard and UPenn for fin aid packages?

Penn to eliminate loans by 2009 - Yahoo! News

Yahoo! News about how UPenn is following Harvard in eliminating loans and upping their fin aid packages for families making under $100,000

I'm hoping cornell will follow suit...and that I get in of course!

Cornell really doesn't have the money these other schools have to be able to do this.

If cornell ends up improving their per capita endowment. Plus that idea would require Cornell to spend money on way more people than Penn. We can only hope tho...

haha wow havent posted here in ages...

i dont think tuition's going down anytime soon, especially that they've increased our tuition for 2007-2008 by $3000. trends not going down anytime soon

There is a letter on the Cornell website concerning this.

Cornell has way too many students to be able to do it. I cannot find the article but I definitely remember reading it.

It was along the lines of that they would love to do it but it is just not feasible.
