Currently I'm taking 2 classes during my 8-week summer semester, which are; Introduction to Business and Introduction to Philosophy.

I'm thinking about taking American History as a 3rd class this summer because:

1- I think I will have plenty of free time during the semester.

2- To let me focus on 3 challenging classes next fall without American History.

3- This fall I will be taking Brief Calculus I, Managerial Accounting, and Chemistry I. (Just to add math is my weakest subject) Also, for that Calculus class I will have to drive an hour once a week.

So what do you guys think? Appreciate all opinions :)

If the classes are all you’re doing, no problem. If you have work or other commitments on top of that, it might be too much.

They seem like 3 easy courses to take together. I don’t think it’s too much to work on top of that (I worked full-time while taking a full course load all through senior year, 16 credits, and still had free time to spare). It might not be fun spending your summer time on classes, but you’ll probably be very thankful come the fall. If you can do any of them online, it’ll save even more time.

Do you have financial aid or scholarships? Be sure that you can take only 3 courses this fall. See how many credits you need to keep your aid (if you have any) before making this decision.
