I was born in Canada and am living in the USA. I really would like to move abroad and in order to do that I should probably try to get a degree abroad to make life easier, I'm thinking Canada, Australia, NZ, the EU or the UK. Any advice on this? This is something I deeply desire. I love life in Canada and I love the people, and I want to visit europe very much, and learn all their languages (I am fascinated by foreign language) and I wouldn't mind Australia or NZ. I love Canadian lifestyle much more than american, and I find the people to be in general far more open and friendly, and although I appreciate and enjoy my life in America, I do desire to go elsewhere. I don't know how to go about doing this, and I have time (i'm only a freshman).

Are you a Canadian citizen? If so, universities in Canada would be an excellent bargain.

Well I have a canadian birth certificate, and I’m pretty sure canada is pretty generous when determining whether someone is a citizen or not. I think I am, but would they take away my citizenship because I am an american citizen also? (my parents were born in America)

Hey, I just checked with my parents and they say I AM a Canadian citizen. I really appreciate any opinions you offer me so go ahead. Thank you! :)

I think it’s too early to worry much about specific schools; your interests will evolve. With that said, you could do some research on the following:

McGill University
Queen’s University
University of Alberta
University of British Columbia
University of Toronto
University of Waterloo (if interested in CS/engineering)
University of Western Ontario (if interested in business)

Smaller, more LAC-like schools:
Mt. Allison University
Acadia University
