So for the Fall 2016 semester I would like to be accepted into certain CUNY colleges. As of now, my first choice is Baruch. (2nd: Queens, 3rd: Brooklyn, 4th City, 5th Hunter, 6th Lehman)
I was wondering if anyone knew how well my chances were for getting in to Baruch as my GPA is an 81 and my current SAT is 1500
@ddgobar Baruch is one of the harder CUNYs to get into. I think they stats are 89 avg and 1230 SAT – CR+M score.
Queens wants an 85 and 1150.
Have you looked into CUNY SEEK?
If you get a 3.5 at another CUNY, including 2 year schools, you can transfer anywhere you want, including Baruch. Also, what do you want to major in? that should influence where you want to go. Unless you’re looking at Accounting, Queens and Baruch don’t really have any of the same programs. If you’re going into accounting, school doesn’t matter, grades do. Go to the school closest. A long commute is real pain in the you know what and Brooklyn and Queens are both respectable enough to get you into a big 4 if you have a GPA 3.75 and up.
I would like to major in business-marketing. But I have changed my list for CUNYs to : Baruch, Brooklyn, City, Queens, City Tech, Lehman (in that order)
