I’m Lina, a producer and staff reporter at the radio show This American Life. I have received permission from College Confidential to post here.
I’m working on a story with the host of our show, Ira Glass, about the efficacy of standardized testing. Basically, we’re trying to answer the question “do we need the SATs/ACTs?” I’m looking for students who applied to test optional schools and got in. I’m especially looking for students who didn’t get into colleges that require score submission, but DID get into colleges that don’t.
