I've been getting invitations to Yale Forums in my area. Some of them are info sessions, some are major-based forums such as the one for Engineering/Science. Some schools, like Stanford, blatantly say they don't favor applicants who show interest by either visiting the campus going on a tour. Does Y take into consideration during the application process that an applicant has attended the forums/visited the campus/had an on-campus interview?

Yale does not favor applicants who show interest by visiting the campus and attending regional events.

plinz, as AA states, the info sessions are valuable if you seek knowledge. Yale (and Stanford) don’t track “shown interest” at all.
