<p>I think we all know this website isn't exactly ideal for those of us interested in SUNY schools because the focus here is primarily California schools and the Ives which is fine, but I found a website where I posted about SUNY and got a lot answers I just want to share it with you</p>

<p>I saw your post about wanting to do teaching and while I really have no room to advise or anything, would you look at SUNY Fredonia? I live in Fredonia and education is probably the main (only) focus. Also there are many musical programs (if your interested). And I believe they have psychology as well. Maybe the small town is a no for you already, but if you haven’t heard about it, look it up. :)</p>

<p>I saw your post on cortland, my cousin went there she loved it. They are big on sports so there’s a real school spirit vibe to it. She said there were windows in her dorms &since it faced like trees and stuff; when it snowed she would wake up to an amazing view and she would even see some deers every once in a while</p>
<p>AW thats cool, I’m kind of nervous with the drastic change in location, like i’ve heard cortland is in the middle of nowhere! and i am definitely not from the middle of nowhere. But the fact that your cousin loved it is reassuring :)</p>
<p>Check out the SUNY.edu site. You can pull up a list of scores and GPA’s (mid 50 percentiles), check out which schools offer which majors and sports, etc. You can also schedule an appointment with a SUNY counselor. You go in with a copy of your transcript and scores and they will sit down with you and help you narrow your choices. My D is at SUNY Plattsburgh studying education and music and she loves it. We’d never heard of it until the suny counselor mentioned it to her. It’s a small city but not in the middle of nowhere like Geneseo or Cortland. It’s about a half hour from Canada.</p>
<p>My cousin is from the Bronx , so it was a Deff big change for her And now she misses it.</p>
