I'd really appreciate some help.

i live in Niagara Falls, really close to UB. It's a really good school, I have a ton of friends going there and they say the programs are excellent. Also, their tuition is low and their dorming is good. There's also a great social scene, a ton of things to do in Buffalo and Canada (drinking age is 19!). There are a lot of free concerts, clubs, etc in the area. And with your stats, I don't think it's possible for you to not get in with a good financial aid deal. Good luck.

Wow, thank you so much. I have a few friends in that area as well and they've spoken highly of it. The social scene/area is actually very important to me (a few of the other schools on my list are in smaller areas which is definitely a negative for them) and I've heard great things about Buffalo and the surrounding area. It also seems like UB gives great opportunities for my area of study. Thank you!

Thanks, Calcruzer!

Bumping, hope that's alright.

Bumping again. Am no longer applying to UGA or Evergreen.

I hate to tell you this but University of Vermont is one of the most expensive college for an OOS . It does have a lot of OOSs but most of them pay full tuition !

Just getting a feel for your choices on your list makes me wonder if you would like U of T in Austin or Asheville State College in NC or New Paltz SUNY???

BTW , I think it's wonderful what you did last summer with your fundraiser - Concert for Kenya . My D is a coffeehouse manager at her school .........an interesting small college ( read Loren Pope's book - Evergreen & Eugene Lang & Beloit are in there too ) called Hiram College in Ohio . They were awfully good with aid and also have guaranteed tuition ( same every year ) and lots of diversity & OOSs .

what about georgia tech? great school- why not apply?
