This Is Us. Anyone watching?

Time will tell. I love Kevin!

I think that maybe Madison dies during childbirth. I hope not because I am starting to like them together.

^^^Not gonna lie that I had that thought as well. I forget from the future are we aware that Kevin has one child or two? I also wondered if the initial “one heartbeat” was some foreshadowing.

Has anyone thought that Madison looks a bit like Sophie? Could she be the Sophie sub in for Kevin???

I don’t mind Kevin and Madison. I think they could grow into a special relationship. Though Sophie seems more destined in many respects.

In the flash forward, Kevin appears to have 2 kids. Appear to be about the same age but we only got quick glimpses and I suck at guessing ages. When there was only one heartbeat I thought they were setting it up for Kevin to adopt a child (like it appears Kate will do). Pearson family tradition sort of thing. Still may happen with the thousands of twists and turns and headfakes the show offers.

Why does episode 502 say buy On Demand.

No idea @conmama! Is that like on your Video on Demand with your cable system? There was no episode this week - there were two in a row last week.

Oh, that’s what it was then. The 2nd half. Thanks!

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Sterling K. Brown stepping into the late John Spencer’s role in the West Wing “Hartsfield Landing” reunion special. He was amazing, and never tried to be Spencer. His performance certainly changed the episode.

In tonight’s episode I almost didn’t recognize 8th grade Kate and Kevin. They’ve changed in appearance so much since last season, especially her. Puberty has arrived!

Okay, so who was the woman in the picture at the end? It looked a little like Kevin’s ex, the one he went to Vietnam with. But it was quick and my eyes aren’t so great, lol.

I was wondering about the connection to the Vietnamese grandfather and what appears to be his granddaughter and the rest of the show. Could it be a tie in to the closing scene of last week which is Randall’s birth mother?

TIming is unclear. When did those events/discussions take place? Could somehow be tied to Nick maybe as well.

I wondered if it were Randal’s birth mother. Because it was a photo of young people from sometime in the past (at least that is what I thought/assumed). I don’t know if her character was supposed to have been younger than William. And Vietnamese grandpa could be in that same age range. Then I wondered what connection they were going to have to Nick (if any). I thought it was a photo from the past of Vietnamese grandpa and a former “girl” (as the granddaughter called her) from his past.

But, I may have the ages of characters and my timeline all goobered up.

It was designed to make the viewer wonder who it it. But it’s not Zoe, it’s Laurel. IMO

I assumed it was Randall’s birth mother. I also wondered if the man could have a connection to Nicky.

I assumed it was Randall’s birth mother.

I also was pretty sure it was Randall’s birth mom. I had wondered about a Nicky connection early on.

What did you think of the Tess video and the parent’s response? I had thought Randall might want to talk to the school re the hair touching of black students. Interesting to see how they will respond to a kid that is clearly pushing the boundaries.

I really like sober Kevin. And I was surprised that Kate and Toby argued in front of the birth mom. That didn’t make sense to me.

I can’t stop thinking about Randall saying how connected his parents were, and they still missed so much. I wonder what I missed? I’m afraid to ask my kids!

Same. But I also think it’s a two-way street. No matter how much you see, and how much you show your willingness to talk about anything and everything, and no matter how much you demonstrate unconditional love, the ones who are predisposed to bottle things up will still do so.

Remind me who Laurel is, please.
