@MAmom111 And let me guess- the whole adoption thing will be a scam. The woman is not even pregnant and is preying on them. It’s only television but I hope for Kate and Toby’s sake that I’m wrong.
@MAmom111 Malik was in 11th grade last year and he has his parents helping.
We don’t know that Ranadall’s mother is alive now, only that she was alive for some period of time following his birth.
But yeah, it’s getting a bit far-fetched
It’s television. It can be far-fetched & still be enjoyable!
Reminder: it’s coming up tomorrow, at last!
So the ovulation test package was a mistake! They missed it during editing. Wow.
Still a good show. I loved Kate’s storyline last night.
Kate looking up that old boyfriend … I hated that and how convenient they both ended up in SoCal. lol But I am really looking forward to next week!
Also, did y’all think Madison was being a little ridiculous about the potential for travel? Just because Kevin’s job involves some travel doesn’t mean he isn’t committed to the family. They can all go on location, or she can stay home with the kids if she wants. I don’t see it as much of an issue until the kids are in school.
I didn’t care for last night’s show. I don’t think Kate’s storyline is as well-developed as Kevin’s or Randall’s. With that said, I’m not necessarily looking forward into delving into Randall’s mom’s past. I know a large part of the overall story is the time hop aspect, but I enjoy the episodes that are more focused on the current. And, there are many characters I already enjoy that we haven’t seen in awhile. Not keen on introducing another new one.
Not one of my favorites either. On the other hand, DH, who isn’t a big fan in general and who watched most of it this morning after falling asleep last night, said he loved it and it made him cry.
I thought it was just okay. And now Randall and Beth appear to be headed to New Orleans in the middle of a pandemic!
Agree it was not a favorite. Seemed contrived that Kate could so easily find the old BF and that he was such a loser. I also thought it took a lot for Kevin to call Randall and found Randall’s response really cold. Agree that Madison seems to not get what being an actor involves. Glad Kevin went to finish the movie. One of the few times I was disappointed by all of the story lines in an episode. Hoping for more interesting shows to come.
Add me to the list of folks not impressed with this week’s episode. I found Kate’s story very contrived. They could have shown her past without actually having her confront her old boyfriend. And I think Toby was very very accepting of the fact that she kept this hidden from him.
I realize I am coming at this from a different perspective than most people, but I was adopted and although I have found my birthparents, there are still lots of unanswered questions, so I totally see where Randall is coming from. My birth mother died in the 80s and my birth father does not remember her, so I will never meet her nor learn about their relationship.
As for the rest of the show, some story lines are annoying and unrealistic, but I do like topics this show explores.
I missed last week’s episode and just watched it (we recorded it). Interestingly, it was election day here, and it was almost surreal to watch the senatorial returns running across the bottom of the screen , and before, well… the rest of the week.
Heading to bed before an early busy day at work, but interested in what others thought about tonight’s episode. I will just say one word-Wow!
I’d like to wade into a lake and scream at the top of my lungs too…, but for a different reason
“Too much” is my 2 cents. I didn’t care for this episode.
Agreed.
“This isnt The Notebook”. best quote.
I wept. The music and story got me right in the .
Here we go with the Madison story - I have no knowledge but don’t feel a happy ending coming.
When are we going to see Nicky again???
