i've had email coorespondence with my adcom, and my names quite noticible. I know this doesn't affect my app in anyway, but just wondering if they can match a name to an app?</p>

<p>Course they do... It's all over your app... and your teachers/counselor are not going to address you as "it" in your recommendation...</p>

I just thought that they may blot it out or something, like they do with many scholarship applications.</p>
<p>Just the opposite, they are trying to get to know you. If you've done a good job with your app, they will feel as if they do. This is why some schools actually let adcom do housing placement, they know the kids.</p>
