This thread is so dead.... anyone care to answer questions?

<p>Hi-- I was admitted to Manhattan College with some nice merit aid, and I was wondering why this school is so little talked about in the world of college confidential (and the real world). I am considering attending the school, and will soon be visiting, but could anyone give me their opinions on:</p>

<ul>
<li>academics-- strong, weak, average? Is this school challenging? I was admitted to the Honors Program, how does this differ from the rest of the school? </li>
<li>location in the Bronx-- I've heard there is a subway stop right off campus and NYC is a large part of Manhattan C life? Any truth to this?
-campus and dorms</li>
<li>general pros and cons-- are there any students who care to enlighten me on their experience at Manhattan C?</li>

<p>My son is a sophomore at MC. He is a civil engineering major there and loves the fact that he receives so much attention from the faculty.
The campus is cute and lovely. It is only 40 minutes from midtown.
Excellent school if you are looking for a strong science or engineering program and/or you are trying to make contacts in New York City (theater, journalism, etc.)
