This will get annoying

Yes, I know. Stop complaining about this because it will happen a lot but...
I just told my best friend that I had just submitted my app for ED and he says... "to which location? university park?"

ok I thought this would get some replies so I shall bump it :P (if you didnt know... university city is in reference to penn STATE!)

No. University City is Penn's neighborhood. Penn State is in University Park.

Man up. At least you can root for a highly ranked football team.

well technically penn state university park is in state college, haha

gah i meant university park... ive just been sick and right now my brain is the equivalent to mush and JHS i'm not sure if you got what i was saying so...
i applied to UPenn and my friend thought I was talking about Penn State because I referred to it as Penn but w/e this was more annoying then)

i know the feeling. i just laugh it off. those who actually care about college will know the difference between university of pennsylvania and penn state. from my experience

what's wrong with people thinking you go to Penn State? Do you need the Ivy League name as an ego-booster or something? If not, then just let it slide. Roll with it!

it's not actually. penn deserves more than just being confused with penn state. it's the school i wanna go to. and honestly, i don't want ppl to mistake it for penn state.

I guess that's a valid point...but it's not like Penn's reputation hinges on what you tell a single, uninformed person haha

i really don't meet too many people who confused PSU and Penn, mainly because I live in PA near philly. Personally, I love both schools and I think people should be able to recognize the difference by just hearing Penn or Penn State. It's the same as like Ohio State and Ohio, but I guess Penn is just a little more prestigious than those schools haha.

yea that's why i usually just laugh it off. lol i don't start screaming at them and vent or somethin haha
