This Year's SAT 2 Physics

Has anyone gotten their Physics score yet. I'm wondering if this years test was very easy. I walked into school today happy about my 780 when I am immediatly shut down by 2 800's and 3 790's in my class alone.

It's typical for 800 to be only the 93rd percentile for the physics test, so if there are 30 students in a class then .9*30=~27 can be expected to get less than 800 while 2 or 3 can be expected to get 800. Your class appears to be just about an average class.

There are 8 kids in my physics class. I go to a private school with only 30 kids in my grade.

In that case your class is pretty smart.

Your score is unquestionably well above average among students who took the test (even though it isn't above average for your class). You will probably be OK without a retake, especially if you aren't going to major in physics like I am.
