<p>for admission to thornton, are the criteria (GPA, SAT/ACT scores) for admissions the same as any other schools in USC? with a low GPA (say, 3.0 uw), but with a really good audition, would that still be an automatic rejection?</p>

<p>Programs that require a 'talent' to get in will always have exceptions. Is USC and Thornton still looking for a good fit in selecting the student? Is entrance competive beyond the talent? S has not received a decision yet, but it has been our experience through his transfer application process, that those answers are emphatically YES.<br>
You should count on that having a really good essay, excellent LOR's, EC's, etc. is as important as the talent to be considered.</p>
