Those who aren't going to UCLA or Berkeley ; <

awww someone sounds sour :frowning: ! hahaha

i’ll stroke both our egos anytime.
damn those of us who got in at both Cal and UCLA are so f-ing bad ass! wooot wooot our efforts and qualities are appreciated and desired by both Cal and UCLA.
amazing :)

so you picked Cal mon ami?
ur gonna have to change that name again. lol

so what is it gonna be jane…

vinti and jane, it already appears getting into cal has already gone to your head with your most recent posts in this thread.

Hmm…I didn’t apply to UCLA (really, really, really hate SoCal), but I did get into Berkeley and am choosing to go to Davis. I do feel a small twinge of longing to go to Cal, but Davis just fits my life perfectly, and the prestige of Berkeley isn’t really a valid reason for pass that up. I am planning to try to go to Cal for grad school, so it’s no big deal.

edbraga–really?? so I’ve only been virtually rejected? hm…not sure how I feel about that… ohhh this modern age =l

Cool Story, bro.

so Jane, what’s the verdict?

she choses…

C. Riverside -____-

I think you should attend the Berkeley reception next week at Pasadena or Costa Mesa before you make your final decision. Just sayin.

UCI reduced rent and free food courtesy of my parents.

UCSD would’ve been my next choice though.

I like SoCal, I like the beach.

also intend to go to grad school or b school(grad school for econ)

“Cool story, bro.” is by far the most overused retort for a butt burning I’ve ever seen tossed around a forum so carelessly! Come on, people! Try a LITTLE harder than that!

That being said, I have serious consideration to attending Davis over Cal! And if I hadn’t gotten into Cal, I would have easily chosen Davis over UCLA. I don’t think LA is all that great, and personally, I believe Davis is a beautiful city with a beautiful campus. But in the end, Berkeley is just too great a city to pass up! Honestly, the city influenced my decision more than the academics.

Now that’s a “cool story.” Bro.
