Thoughts on Cal Poly Pomona?

I noticed that in recent years (post 2012), things have really changed with this school. Majors such as engineering and business are starting to show more difficulty (on top of how hard it already was; starting to challenge some UC such as Irvine from what I’ve heard). Other subjects like agriculture are really improving, and that the academics here have really gone up. I also noticed there are new structures being put into place (the dangerous CLA building coming down, the greatly improved pipeline system, the new places to eat, the BRIC, etc.) and that the school wasn’t very updated before as they have finally decided to now. Since they’re making these changes, what do others think about it? Will this affect admissions and perhaps make it more difficult to get into? I think it’ll drop into mid 40s or low 40s and slowly go from there.

I think it will continue to get more difficult to get into CPP in the coming years.

As a CPP alumni, I have always felt the school was underrated and over shadowed by Cal Poly SLO. My husband and I received an excellent education at CPP many years ago and I think that their programs will continue to improve which make the acceptance rate continue to decline.
