Thoughts on these schools as well as possible recomendations.

Hey everyone, so I've asked this in the college search forum but haven't really gotten any answers just people telling me to look into my local CC which isn't something I'm goin to do. I was hoping I'd get more information here.

Anyway so some background I am a junior and between my freshmen and sophomore year I had a 97 overall average (weighted). However this year I struggled with my classes especially Physics and AP US history so my overall average this year is about 91/92 averaged with the other 2 years I'm going to assume my average will be a 92ish I have yet to take the SAT I will be taking it in may but on the PSAT I only got a 145. And I am a Hispanic female in a high need district.

If anyone could tell me a little about these schools?

Pace University- both campuses
St. Franscis University
LIU- Brooklyn campus
Sage College of Albany
SUNY Oneonta
SUNY Cortland
CUNY City College.

I have received a scholarship from Sage College but have yet to visit.
If anyone could help me figure out just examples of Reaches, Matches, and safeties it would also be a lot of help. So if you could recommend some schools I should visit in the NY, CT, PA, NJ area. I want to be a teacher and teach in inner city schools, but I would like to double major in education and psychology.

Sorry this is so long but thanks for any help.

Jazzii, What do you want to teach? I don’t know how it works in New York state, but I found this site [Become a Teacher in New York | Teacher Certification in New York | Certification Map](About Certification Map) and it looks like you will need to double major in a subject that you want to teach if you are planning to teach in secondary schools. I’m sure NY posters will be able to give you good info about the schools you are interested in.
