My daughter interviewed and got in with them in 2019 though she ended up attending another BSMD. Her interview was at Seton and if I recall there was a group session with the parents first, then they broke them down into segments for like some groups and individual interviews. Everybody at that interview were just so warm

I think it’s not out of order to shoot them an email. You never know it may even communicate the weight of your interest in their program

Yeah. The 5s in AP may cover for the B’s depending on who interviews you but if they ever ask you to defend the B, please take responsibility for it and let them know what you have learned but never try to shift the blame on your teacher being absent.

How’s the interview? Was it like general traditional questions?
Just curious, do mid-year reports go to medical schools too OR do they remain only with the undergrad school?
As you the chances of getting into a BS/MD program are <3%.
So, apply broadly.

Getting a 5 on APs will demonstrate your knowledge of the subject and can help overcome the Bs.

Hi anyone have an idea of when Hofstra’s second round of interviews come out?
Union/Albany has provided status of the Leadership in Medicine Program application status on their admissions portal. They didn’t send an email of rejection but posted the update in admissions portal.

rejected status only. Also just received the email with same information.

Didn’t mention where you are (this makes huge difference in say colleges like AL, UMKC etc.,)
Also u might have noticed from this/earlier threads, BSMD admission also involves various other things too.
Apply widely, IMO/experience, no BSMD is bad (except IVY is high)
Choose UG/Colleges that “suits you” (8+ years),
Say if u r into doing MBA … look at Union for Albany
Say if u r into doing Social/society welfare …look at UG college those give them
Be prepared to spend “huge time” to do this (or get help from your parents/others)
