@InspiredMD Probably, they follow same procedure for BSMD but only AMC can confirm or deny it. Why bother ? If you get the supplemental, complete it and pay the fees. Otherwise, move on.

Yes. Union sends along any applicants who meet the GPA and SAT/ACT criteria to AMC. AMC makes the decision on whether or not to send the supplemental.
Add to that, expect medical school to follow same screening procedure for its feeder schools. Feeder schools may have own process to screen for their respective UG admission.
I am sure @Undecided3494 ! Wonder why AMC never introduced MCAT as requirement on lines of Penn State or NJMS. The former specifies a minimum in 60% ile or so and the latter doesnāt even do that. Yet I am sure all the talented students in those programs score in 90, 95 and even 99-100% iles as early as the end of their sophomore years and without even much preparation & effort. And these programs must be including their scores when publishing their stats. In fact these students may even be raising the average bar higher by their performances in the test.

I am not really sure, maybe itās rolling. My D submitted the application sometime before DEC 1st and they emailed saying if selected they request for permission to forward it to SUNY. On 11th she received another email asking her to confirm before 14th.
Canāt really speak for the other programs too much, but I can understand why they havenāt introduced an MCAT requirement for the Union/AMC students. The MS/MBA does take up a lot of our time, and we are usually have to take up one of our summers doing a term abroad. Plus the requirement to double major means that we are taking a significant overload of courses.
The RPI program is also very rigorous as they are doing undergrad in three years and are required to do a substantial amount of research before they matriculate to AMC.

yes, forwarded to Suny Upstate with no supplements but RIT which is another feeder had sent us supplements. No word from there yet.

My D was forwarded to SUNY upstate (on 12/10) with no supplements and we are still waiting to receive supplements from SUNY. Seems like no one from the feeder school APCHS got supplements yet? We are OOS.

We applied on 11/01 and got the āapplication forwarded to Upstateā¦ā email on 12/10. She got a follow-up message on 12/14 from the admission counselor saying āSorry for the email spamā¦ā and she will get the supplement in 1-2 business daysā¦ We will follow-up with APCHS tomorrow morning if we donāt get the supplement by EOD today?
