three science classes

so i'm a bio major, and wanted to know if taking three bio classes in one semester is a good/bad idea. I'm also taking two other non-major related courses. I wanted to get my bio credits out of the way which is why i'm considering it. They are: Microbiology, general physiology, cell biology.

In general, science majors at my school often take three or even four classes in their majors by the time they reach junior or senior year. However, it is rarely advisable to take three LAB science courses. Now, if those are not lab courses, or if only one or two are, then it should be fine if you are a bio major. If they are lab courses, you’re going to be spending three 3-hour chunks of your day doing lab.

Yeah, if they’re all lab courses I would suggest not taking three in the same semester. If they’re not and/or there’s a combination of lab and non-lab classes, go for it.
