Dear XXXXXXXXX:

We are delighted to inform you that you have been admitted to Princeton University! The committee has reviewed your application and has admitted you to the Class of 2010. We had a powerful early decision pool and your credentials distinguished you in this early group. Your exceptional academic accomplishments, extra-curricular achievements, and personal qualities impressed the readers. We are delighted to be accepting you.
A packet including your letter of admission and other information was mailed to you via Fed Ex on December 13, 2005. If it has not arrived

there by the end of next week, please let us know. We look forward to meeting you next year!
Once again, congratulations. We are pleased to be sending you this splendid news, and especially to be welcoming you to Princeton.

sorry i gues i spoke too soon . i got the mail i was deffered
Dear Mustafa:
We mailed you a letter on December 13, 2005 to inform you that we are deferring action on your application until the spring. We had many more qualified early applicants than we had places and we had to make some difficult choices in this exceptionally powerful pool. Your record of achievement was recognized and the committee appreciated the time, care and effort you put into your application.

Often a deferral means that the committee would like to see your senior year academic performance. Your application will be reconsidered in February and March with the entire applicant pool. Please be sure your counselor sends us the Mid-Year School Report as soon as your mid-year grades are complete. If you have additional information you would like us to review, please send it to us by the end of January. Please be aware that we expect as strong an applicant pool in Regular Decision as we had in this early round.
We realize this defer decision is disappointing news, especially since Princeton was your first choice. We look forward to evaluating your application again with the entire applicant pool.
