Time for berk admission release

1more day dude!

Yea! what do you plan on doing, once you get accepted?

Yep one more day, I have been waiting so long for April 30th. For the love of god don’t let me down Berkeley.

im ganna study my ass off(spring semester) and act like a Berkeley student!(elite)

i dont feel the excitement because the test that i am about to have has taken away all the excitements

I’m missing class tomorrow to wait and see if my husband gets in…I told him I’m going to tape him checking over and over until he gets his decision and post it on youtube, lol, lol…it would suck though if he got a rejection.

Your husband received a independent student verification form, didn’t he?
He is in!!!
No worries

Berkeley releases admissions!!!

tomorrow

yeah… I met this girl on the campus bus yesterday that also received one, she is waiting on decisions tomorrow and has a baby. I’m wondering if there are anyone who applied as an independent student w/ dependents that didn’t get one of those letters.

luvtoolearn- you said what time you got the fee waiver e-mail?

It was between 12:55-1:10 pm, I remember it was right after my lunch time at work because I threw up… lmao, lol

luvtoolearn: You are starting to make me worry…haha. It does seem like everyone with a dependent received one of those letters. I doubt everyone with a dependent got in. But the financial aid office told you guys you’re in. I also couldn’t find a single case of someone getting one of those letters and not getting in. I guess we will find out tommorrow…man im starting to get nervous.

The best of luck to your husband! The independent information seems like a good sign.

i’ll be checking my e-mail before the official decision…

torrance…I remember mojo also got an email around the same time… remember this thread

thedude…thanks
fijeeboi… you are so in there…no worries

fijeeboi I wouldn’t worry! I think students pulling good grades with dependents are an amazing lot who deserve to get in so more probably do. Good luck to everyone.

yes i remember the 07 memorizes… i havent heard mojo for awhile… i know that im going get fee waiver(low income) but if i don’t get e-mail before the official decision=rejection?

I am so nervous - I dont wanna get excited in case i get denied but i cant fake that im not wanting it. I have a shakespeare test 2morrow night so im gonna try not to check till after bc i dont want it to affect my test. If i get in i will be too happy and wont concentrate, if i get denied i will cry and slit my wrist (jk) but will be bummed

“Haha if I get in I might even buy a halfway decent bottle of champagne as opposed to Cooks.”

Um, haven’t you heard of prosecco or cava? It is usually about the same price as Cooks, but MUCH BETTER. I have a small bottle of prosecco in my fridge right now for celebrating…anything that might come up.

Does anyone know the ceiling for the SIR fee waiver? Or even an idea?
