When I take a practice sat when should I do it again to maximize my score increase?
Also, are the practice tests in the official SAT prep book the same as the ones on khan academy?
Thanks in advance!

I just looked through my 2016 Official SAT Study Guide (the giant blue one, which I guess you’re referring to) and it seems like some of the tests are the same, but a few are different (it’s been like 5 months since I took the SAT so take that with a grain of salt). There is definitely more material in that Official Study Guide though in terms of practice problems and tips than on Khan Academy (it’s literally like 5 inches thick printed on 8x11 paper). Not sure about the test scores though bud. If you have problems with running out of time, try doing sections in less time than they’re meant to be done in. If the section normally takes 45, try and do it in 40… That helped me with timing.
After two weeks of prep should be an ideal time
Make sure you understand all the questions you got wrong or were unsure about before taking another practice test. Go over the official college board explanations which you can find online. If there are any concepts that don’t make complete sense, go over them thoroughly. Assume you know less than you think you do (people tend to overestimate their abilities). Being able to follow an explanation is not the same as having a good grasp on the relevant topic or skill.
They are the same tests.
